Requirements
- High School education or equivalent required
- 3 months to 1 year employment in a related position within Four Seasons or other organizations
- Working Technical Knowledge of general building maintenance is required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up with engineers on scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
- Monitor building temperatures via the BMS (Building Management System) and perform physical temperature checks throughout the facility.
- Manage and follow up on equipment repairs, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems throughout the building.
- Assist in ordering supplies via BirchStreet and ensure timely updating of invoices.
- Monitor par stock levels and oversee the distribution of inventory items.
- Respond promptly to guest service calls regarding maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in all Engineering areas, including grease traps and plumbing systems, and support an organized department and hotel environment.
- React effectively to all emergency situations, including fires and power outages.
- Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
- Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
- Support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.
