Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
  • Series 79 and 63
  • 2-4 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of marketing and execution activities
  • Conducts research and on-going analysis, prepares supporting documentation, and assists in due diligence efforts on transactions
  • Assists in the analysis of clients’ financial situations, industry and market data, and the identification of product-specific opportunities
  • Assists in valuations of private and public companies
  • Performs and effectively reviews basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel
  • Provides input to external client proposals and internal underwriting memos; assists in the preparation of client presentations based upon the above
  • Aids senior team members with idea generation
  • Works closely with/oversees junior colleagues to ensure accuracy
  • Directs, trains and develops junior colleagues to enable them to meet challenges, department objectives and achieve full potential
  • Develops internal relationships in order to leverage products and services provided by TD
  • Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information
