Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Coaching and/or playing experience at collegiate level
- LA Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Providing appropriate training, discipline, and coaching for student-athletes that leads to a highly competitive basketball program.
- Serving as a mentor to student-athletes helping them develop academically, physically, and socially.
- Monitoring student-athletes in their academic performance to ensure timely progress towards degree completion and graduation.
- Assist Head Coach with organization of practices, recruitment and team travel.
- Working with the University and local community to help promote and publicize the team and LSUE Athletics.
- Attending departmental staff meetings and special events of both the Athletic Department and the University.
- Maintaining the basketball facility.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Women’s Basketball.
