Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required upon hire
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in the coaching, organization and administration of the program including but not limited to practice and match preparation
- Attend all practices and scheduled matches
- Provide academic and athletic support for students
- Assist with recruiting including travel
- Drilling and playing team members
- Practice and match analysis
- Videotaping
- Maintain equipment and recruiting budget
- Organize and implement fundraising activities including teaching lessons
- Optional: Teach one Physical Education class each semester
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree is preferred
- One to two years of college coaching experience preferred
- College or professional playing experience preferred
- USPTA or USPTR certification preferred
- Completion of the USTA High Performance Coaching Program preferred
