Requirements
- Specialized knowledge of Revit, BIM tools, building codes, documentation, and constructability.
- A professional architecture degree is required.
Responsibilities
- Works in tandem with Client, Architects, Design Project Managers, Designers, Development, Construction and consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.
- Independently solves problems and applies basic principles of design.
- Develops technical standards and techniques.
- Performs tasks with a high level of collaboration and sets an example for others to follow.
- Establishes and pursues annual goals based on personal, professional and company growth in the industry.
- Ensures project goals of design excellence, execution and sustainability.
- Direct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Supports and leads team of Architects and Designers through the design process of small to mid-sized projects.
- Supports and leads technical execution of complete and thorough set of design documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedules.
- Leads detailing efforts for a complete set of construction documents and construction phase to ensure a high level of technical accuracy.
- Leads design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings.
- Coordinates project design schedules.
- Resolves unusual or complex technical issues.
- Research and lead code reviews and regulatory approval process.
- Manages and coordinates Ryan’s QA/QC process and project specifications.
- Identifies and communicates deviations in project scope.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience
- Bluebeam knowledge
- LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification
