Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer in the network/cybersecurity field or as a DevOps/Solution Architect, preferably for networking or data security products with focus on RUM, Observability, DEM, or APM is a plus
- Automation experience with Java/Python, SASE/SSE expertise: SWG, CASB, DLP, FWaaS protocols, Threat Protection, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure knowledge: GCP, AWS, Azure
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with networking; cloud security experience is an added advantage
- Proven track record of creating products from concept to market success
- Strong focus on end-user experience and data visualization tools and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and trade show experience. Capable of communicating at both business and technical levels with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives
- Strong customer advocacy skills with experience in handling difficult customer situations
- Fast learner with strong initiative and a sense of ownership, committed to getting things done
- Experience with automation tools, building dashboards, etc.
- Experience in writing and editing technical documentation and operational procedures
Responsibilities
- Develop, continuously refine, and execute the technical marketing plan for critical accounts to drive engagement and sales
- Create, maintain, and deliver effective technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos, and technical training for sales teams, customers, and partners
- Lead automation initiatives within and across cross-functional teams, striving to achieve technical and operational excellence throughout the release process
- Conduct competitive research and testing to identify key advantages of our product lines and effectively communicate them to sales, customers, and partners
- Act as a key technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and internal meetings
- Collaborate with engineering to identify product gaps based on competitive analysis and work with Product Management (PM) to drive enhancements
- Serve as the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products, providing Systems Engineers with information on competitive questions
- Identify sales challenges arising from competitive situations and provide viable solutions
- Document technical concepts to ensure our products are well understood and utilized to their fullest potential
- Set-up and maintain a competitive test lab, including test harness, competitive products, and automation environment
- Configure and test competitive products, evaluating their strengths in security efficacy and product features
- Own the technical product area of Real User Monitoring (RUM) and provide analytics to monitor digital experience in Prisma Access
- Maintain a passion for the customer journey, user experience, and usability with a knack for simplicity
