Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of product narratives, go-to-market materials, and commercial strategies to support regional business development teams negotiating and closing partnerships with News partners.
- Create and take ownership of key processes for tracking, documentation, approvals, and governance related to agreements and commercial strategies.
- Work with partner managers and business development teams to gather partner feedback on new product opportunities to shape commercial approach and negotiations.
- Analyze data to support business development teams to identify partnership opportunities, build partner pipelines, and evaluate program success metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with business development or agreement negotiation or partnerships.
- Experience with news publishing, media, or digital strategy.
- Experience contributing to operational projects working collaboratively across multiple functions and levels in a large and distributed organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with sound business judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
