Requirements
- MS with 2+ years experience
- BS with 3+ years experience
- Experienced in the design, development and implementation of in vitro cell based functional assays to study target-specific drug effects
- Knowledge and experienced in cell biology and antibody characterization
- Experience with cell culture and functional assays including: on-cell binding, reporter assays, PSR, MSD, flow cytometry, cell adhesion, cell migration, and imaging
- Skilled in data analysis, interpretation, and data reporting
- Experience in troubleshooting, assay optimization and data quality control is a plus
- Experience with functional characterization of CART is a plus
- Working knowledge of disease areas in GI/Inflammatory, Neuroscience and/or immunology is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work with cross-functional project teams
- Ability to work independently and self-driven in managing and accomplishing daily tasks
Responsibilities
- Provide broad assay development support for early stage drug discovery projects in GI & Inflammation, and Neuroscience (GI^2 and NS) therapeutic areas
- Design, troubleshoot, validate, and execute a variety of assays to characterize developability and mechanism of action of novel biologics
- Collaborate with automation engineers to leverage automated/semi-automated execution of cell based assays
- Analyze and interpret data, interface with project teams to meet timelines and milestones, and present findings
- Spend ~85% of time in laboratory to maintain and implement cell based assay platform and perform experiments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting, assay optimization and data quality control is a plus
- Experience with functional characterization of CART is a plus
- Working knowledge of disease areas in GI/Inflammatory, Neuroscience and/or immunology is a plus
