Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of project management experience is required.
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrated experience with completing project documentation, including schedules using software, requirements documentation, and financial tracking
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.
- Knowledge of the project communication requirements of a large organization that values transparency
- A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience is required.
- At least two (2) years of experience managing a project portfolio system is required.
- A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is also required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management and coordination of IT projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Tracking project progress, managing documentation, assisting with resource allocation, and maintaining the project portfolio management system.
- Overseeing the administration of the project portfolio management system, including developing templates, creating workflows, budget allocation and tracking, and designing dashboards.
- Assisting technical managers in implementing approved project processes on all projects.
- Coordinating information for all projects, ensuring that project documentation accurately reflects the scope, schedule, costs, resource requirements, and current status of all projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience developing workflows, forms, dashboard in a project portfolio tool is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of budget experience is preferred.
- Experience working in higher education environment is preferred.
- At least two (2) years of experience developing workflows, forms, dashboard in a project portfolio tool is preferred.
- At least two (2) years of budget experience for multiple projects is preferred.
