Requirements
- Completion of an approved education program in athletic training and/or related health science field
- State of Ohio Athletic Trainer license
- BOC certification (Board of Certification)
- Proficient in computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience working with athletic populations is required
Responsibilities
- Providing outreach athletic training and duties as assigned
- Event and practice coverage
- Preventative practice
- Athletic training room coverage
- Educational involvement
- Provision of components of physical therapy treatment plans under supervision
- Serve as a physician extender in clinics
- Coordinate patient flow and support physicians
- Supervise supportive clinical personnel (i.e.: aides, students)
- Participate in a teaching capacity
- Assist with administrative procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine facility preferred
