Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Proven experience in electron optics OR high vacuum system design OR precision mechanisms, OR precision mounting of optical components
- Hands-on experience or willingness to learn high voltage systems and EBeam/Ion Beam/Charged Particle Beam technologies
- Quick learner with a natural curiosity and eagerness to explore new technologies
- Proficient in mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, ProE, and AutoCAD
- Skilled in simulation software like Mechanica and Ansys
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to develop sophisticated, reliable solution for next generation e-beam tools.
- Understand and drive system and subsystem requirement specifications.
- Lead concept and detailed designs including design reviews.
- Guide material and component selection for optical and opto-mechanical systems, precision drives and actuators and high vacuum systems
- Propose feasibility studies and proof of concepts.
- Drive the definition of test criteria and build test plans for functional prototypes.
- Guide the release process according to KLA’s standard processes.
- Work with multi-functional groups and lead system-level discussions including impact on overall system performance.
- Lead problem solving activities at subsystem and system levels.
