Requirements
- 6 years prior industry compliance experience required, preferably 3+ years of performing similar function at similar company.
- BA, BS, or LLB degree or above.
- Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
- Previous position in multi-national corporation demonstrating quick ability to learn and compliance-related activities, even if not within pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
- Drive the tracking and management of all transfers of value provided to US Healthcare Professionals, in collaboration with the Transparency team.
- Lead and excel in performing data quality checks for the annual US CMS Open Payments disclosure reports.
- Spearhead the execution of data quality checks for the annual US state disclosure reports.
- Conduct analyses for CMS Open Payments Data and other Gilead data sources on ad-hoc and regular basis.
- Innovate and analyze data sources globally that flow into Gilead’s global transparency system, and identify opportunities where processes can be streamlined to increase data quality and effectiveness.
- Assess the impact of HCP master data for global transparency reporting and work with stakeholders to ensure accuracy of HCP profiles and underlying data fields such as NPI or state license numbers.
- Engage in business end-user testing of global transparency systems and downstream data feeds.
- Craft PowerPoint presentations to communicate key insights to business partners and leaders.
- Deliver impactful recommendations and findings in meetings with senior team members.
- Actively engage in cross-functional and Global Compliance Operations projects that may involve varying therapeutic areas, franchises, and/or business systems.
- Drive the documentation of Transparency team’s processes.
- Contribute innovative ideas to and provide training on transparency processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Works collaboratively with other members of Business Conduct as well as marketing operations and IT.
- Within area of assigned responsibility, contributes to multidisciplinary and/or International projects, including taking responsibility for Business Conduct aspects of multiple projects.
- Contributes to the periodic review, revision and supplementation of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they appropriately reflect developments in their assigned area.
- Keeps Business Conduct abreast of latest developments in their area of expertise, suggesting systems or other improvements for their area.
- Assists with ongoing monitoring and auditing of commercial activities within assigned area of responsibility.
