Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or other medical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired
- Clinical research certification from an accredited certifying agency desired
- Computer skills required with experience using Microsoft Software applications desired
Responsibilities
- Coordination and oversight of clinical research protocols investigating hematology malignancies
- Identifying and assessing eligibility of patients for clinical research study participation
- Discussing research studies with patients and their family members
- Obtaining informed consent and assisting with IRB submissions
- Collaborating with an inter-disciplinary research team
- Ensuring that all necessary data is collected and reported as appropriate
- Participating in internal and external quality reviews
- Ensuring and verifying data integrity
- Generating reports and reviews to ensure validity of data
- Supporting activities to ensure compliance with all Institutional Review Boards (IRB)
- Assisting with coordinating and preparing for external quality assurance and control reviews by IRB, or sponsors
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired
