Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in research administration or sponsored program operations, with focus on award processing or grant compliance.
- Experience with Cayuse and/or Workday preferred.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance and sponsor terms and conditions is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative workflows and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review and clean up award records in Cayuse to ensure alignment with executed agreements and institutional records.
- Coordinate the timely routing of new awards and modifications from Cayuse into Workday to initiate account setup.
- Work in collaboration with post-award staff to support timely and compliant award closeout.
- Ensure documentation integrity and completeness for all award actions including start/end dates, budgets, and terms.
- Identify and triage documentation gaps, system errors, or delays in award setup processes.
- Maintain accurate award status reports and track progress of pending and completed award actions.
- Communicate with departmental research administrators and faculty to clarify award information as needed.
- Support system improvements related to Cayuse and Workday award setup processes and workflow integration.
- Assist in updating award setup standard operating procedures and training new users as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Sponsored Programs Office and the Office of Research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cayuse and/or Workday preferred.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance and sponsor terms and conditions is desirable.
