Requirements
- Board Certified/Eligible by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure & Heart Transplantation
- Completion of AHFTC Fellowship Program
- Must be energetic, motivated and collegial with a strong commitment to education and training of cardiovascular fellows, residents and medical students
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Responsibilities
- Clinical activities will include consultative cardiology to include complex heart failure management, pre and post VAD management, pre and post cardiac transplant management, and also non-invasive cardiac imaging
- Opportunities to engage in clinical and research programs in the breadth of cardiovascular medicine
- Participate in educational conferences
- Academic appointment
