Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in aerospace engineering
- Experience with DoD sustainment and acquisition processes
- Experience with manufacturing processes and materials science
- Knowledge of standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD or ASME
- Knowledge of DoD Technical Data Package (TDP) creation and DoD acquisition requirements generation
- Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary information and resolve technical issues, and work with and present to senior ranking officials
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience working with airworthiness standards and regulations in the Air Force, including MIL-HDBK-516 and Joint Service Specification Guides (JSSGs)
- Experience evaluating TDP, Source Approval Requests (SAR), First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and other associated documentation submitted through a Records Management System to ensure adherence to specifications and acceptability of delivered items
- Experience with SysML and digital engineering processes and tools, such as Cameo
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
- Ability to coordinate and manage Engineering Technical Assistance Request (ETAR) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
- Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering
