Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • 3+ years engineering experience with electrical system design, integration, testing, debug, and repair
  • Comfortable using circuit schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Mastery of fundamental engineering concepts, including EE, Mech E, Programming, Physics, and Mathematics.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, which can be from an internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc.
  • Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
  • Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.

Responsibilities

  • Own requirements gathering, design, integration, and validation of multiple electrical systems for both V-BAT and our next-generation aircraft.
  • Debug, root cause, and repair electrical hardware issues. Drive improvements to prevent reoccurrence and increase reliability. Become fluent with aircraft schematics, wiring diagrams, interfaces, communications, and mechanical design.
  • Support aircraft flight operations and data review the responsible authority for evaluating aircraft health, performance, real-time debug and resolution.
  • Deliver novel autonomous features through collaboration with Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded, Manufacturing, Product Management, Flight Test, etc.
  • Use Python or Matlab to scrape data during testing and validation activities.
  • Contribute to and attend cross-functional design reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or any scripting language.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc.
  • Experience testing automotive or aerospace systems in the field.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes.
