Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with avionics
- 2+ years of experience with hardware testing
- Experience with manual testing, reporting test statuses, and identifying, isolating, and documenting defects
- Experience with aircraft testing
- Experience creating and maintaining test artifacts such as a test case repository and SQA documentation
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to design, execute, and maintain test cases based on requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documents
- Ability to review and interpret system and application logs, and assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Work with testers, developers, engineers, and various project stakeholders to evaluate software developed for the Air Force
- Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories
- Generate test data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs
- Document the results and communicate defects to the development team
- Create and maintain test cases and other test artifacts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting
- Experience with Jira, WSL, and GitLab
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Top Secret clearance
