Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years relevant work experience; 3 years in Procurement desired.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing contracts that include Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work / Transaction Documents.
- Proficient project and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and outsourcing principles, theories, and processes.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with business buyers as a trusted procurement advisor.
- Lead, execute, and implement sourcing initiatives; take accountability for the results of these efforts.
- Lead the end-to-end negotiations process for assigned deals.
- Develop negotiation strategies based on relevant financial and market analysis; present and obtain approval for the strategies from leadership prior to execution.
- Draft and revise clearly written contracts that optimize value and mitigate risk to The Cigna Group.
- Assist with the development and implementation of annual Category Plans.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the Source to Contract continuum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Source to Pay applications (e.g. Ariba, iCertis) preferred.
