Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years’ experience.
- 7 years’ experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants.
- 7 years’ experience requiring data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data.
- 4 years leadership experience including 2 yrs in a management position.
- Experience of Healthcare benefits, terminology, and concepts and insurance economies.
- Experience of quantitative and qualitative standards and measures and statistical measures and concepts.
- Negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing a service-oriented department by leading a team of Client Consultants (Account Managers).
- Identifying and escalating operational trends and issues.
- Actively engaging in the problem-solving process.
- Maintaining overall distribution partner satisfaction with Medicare sales operations.
- Managing and strategic planning delivery of information and analysis on client cost and utilization data for eligible accounts.
- Recommending and implementing best practices for the department.
- Providing benefit contracting, commissions and compliance consulting services support and insights to top of hierarchy large accounts.
- Providing coaching and direction to team staff of benefit consultants and analysts.
- Developing and enhancing consistent policies and processes.
- Providing quality and compliance data and analysis to top of hierarchy and large downline agencies large accounts.
- Consulting with large accounts on informational needs and interpretation of the data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Medicare Sales Operations: contracting, enrollment, compliance and commissions.
- Understanding of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines.
- Proven track record of problem solving, identifying and removing roadblocks, triaging and prioritizing issues.
