Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- 4+ years of product experience or related experience in merchandising, retail, product
- Strong global consumer and marketplace knowledge
- Proven track record of displaying strong business acumen and strategic decision making
- Great product eye
- Strong style sensibility
- Proven track record of fostering a collaborative team environment
- Great presentation and communication skills – experience presenting to Senior Leaders within Nike and External Partners
- Attention to details
- Enterprise leadership potential
- Proven leadership authenticity and credibility with internal and external partners
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the product creation process from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned models to lead to on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals.
- Take product insights and create compelling briefs, in addition to working with all product partners to ensure product excellence.
- Present the culmination of this work to our cross functional partners to enable the full end to end process to come to life.
- Be responsible for achieving revenue and margin goals.
- Coordinating and communicating the line or specific products to internal and external audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience monitoring and understanding trends, and applying that understanding to product briefs is preferred
- Global or Geographic experience is preferred
