Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from accredited engineering / ABET school required
- 5+ years’ of leadership, management, and/or project management experience is required
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operational management of the branch office including construction materials testing/inspection, concrete, soils, and related lab and field testing, as well as geotechnical related lab and field testing
- Business development activities including scope of work development, estimating and proposal preparation
- Development of construction quality control programs and implementation
- Profit and Loss responsibilities
- AR responsibility
- Recruitment, development and mentoring of professional, technical, & administrative personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- P.E. registration is preferred or ability to obtain
- ICC, NICET and/or ACI Certifications are a plus
- P&L, and basic accounting experience is preferred
- Sales, marketing, and client management experience preferred
- Prior personnel management, hiring and training experience preferred
