Requirements
- Associate’s degree/Technical Diploma or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institute and at least Five (5) years of combined experience engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment.
- OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and Three (3) year of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment.
Responsibilities
- Leads capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal.
- Works with cross-functional team including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations.
- Utilizes project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering.
- Prior experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience with automation, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment.
- Skills include good communication (written and verbal) skills.
