Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Model-Based System Engineer, performing engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
- 3+ years of experience with the practical application of SysML, UML, DoDAF, or UAF using MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM rhapsody
- Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools
- Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systems
- Experience with the aerospace and defense industry, systems engineering for C2 systems, defense communications systems, or the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN)
- Ability to perform multiple systems engineering functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Responsibilities
- Shape Air Force missions by leading systems modeling
- Design and develop systems, and evolve them with advanced technology solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing in Agile environments
- Knowledge of using system models during government engineering reviews
- Knowledge of system engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, and cybersecurity
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top Secret clearance
- OCSMP Fundamental Certification
- INCOSE CSEP Certification
