Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience; PhD with 1 years of experience (Note: 9+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Understanding of basic manufacturing and production concepts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance for which U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be able to work a 4th shift schedule (7am-7pm)
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and guidance to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
- Meeting fab throughput and productivity metrics, product delivery schedules, fab yields, and overall fab quality
- Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts, 5S activities, lean manufacturing principles
- Involved in staffing decisions, training, and driving engagement efforts to achieve the employee’s highest potential
- Provide ATL leadership with progress reports and presentations
- Work independently across the organization to meet fab needs and goals
- Maintain a safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
- Technical knowledge and understanding of semiconductor processes and toolsets
- Supervision or people management experience is preferred
- Experience in the microelectronics industry
- Working knowledge of industry and management methodologies focused on continuous improvement in manufacturing, such as SPC, 5S, Total Quality Management or Six Sigma
- Experienced in ISO 9001 or AS9100 audits and requirements, knowledgeable of Industrial Hazardous Waste Management procedures
- Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment
