200MM Foundry Operations Manager – 4th Shift

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience; PhD with 1 years of experience (Note: 9+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Understanding of basic manufacturing and production concepts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance for which U.S. citizenship is required
• Must be able to work a 4th shift schedule (7am-7pm)

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
• Meeting fab throughput and productivity metrics, product delivery schedules, fab yields, and overall fab quality
• Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts, 5S activities, lean manufacturing principles
• Involved in staffing decisions, training, and driving engagement efforts to achieve the employee’s highest potential
• Provide ATL leadership with progress reports and presentations
• Work independently across the organization to meet fab needs and goals
• Maintain a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
• Technical knowledge and understanding of semiconductor processes and toolsets
• Supervision or people management experience is preferred
• Experience in the microelectronics industry
• Working knowledge of industry and management methodologies focused on continuous improvement in manufacturing, such as SPC, 5S, Total Quality Management or Six Sigma
• Experienced in ISO 9001 or AS9100 audits and requirements, knowledgeable of Industrial Hazardous Waste Management procedures
• Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment
