Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong skills in designing and building distributed systems and APIs
- Experience working in fast-moving, iterative environments with shifting priorities
- Exposure to automation, IoT, or physical-system integration is a plus
- Solid collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services that support store and warehouse operations
- Contribute to rapid prototyping efforts to explore new concepts and validate feasibility
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code with an eye toward long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with product managers, operations experts, and fellow engineers to deliver solutions from concept to scale
- Work closely with automation and integration layers to connect software with physical systems
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and performance tuning efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to automation, IoT, or physical-system integration is a plus
