General Merchandise Team Leader

High school diploma or equivalent
Age 18 or older
Ability to lead and hold others accountable

Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement
Educate your team on how operational procedures affect inventory management and store profitability
Help assess reporting to identify gaps in GM processes and assist to develop a plan
Assist with and lead the daily execution of tasks such as receiving products and restocking shelves
Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
Help establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
Lead pick, pack and ship fulfillment work accurately and assess reporting in fulfillment
Collaborate with all teams and leaders to identify key priorities and ensure the store is guest-ready
Model a culture of executing all best practices during team onboarding and learning
Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes
Demonstrate inclusivity and a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors
Model the execution of physical security processes
Address all store emergency and compliance needs
Perform all other duties based on business needs
