Cyber Threat Assessment Analyst – Senior

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3–5 years in cyber threat intelligence
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)

Responsibilities

• Ensure IT and cybersecurity compliance with DoD and USG standards and regulations
• Identify and evaluate artifacts for control compliance
• Maintain artifacts for USSOUTHCOM’s contribution to Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS)
• Gather, analyze, and report strategic, operational, and tactical threat intelligence
• Plan and lead major technology assignments
• Provide expert recommendations across multiple project assignments
• Supervise and develop Journeyman analysts

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior roles in Cyber Threat Analysis, SOC Analysis, or Incident Response
• Master’s degree (MA/MS) and DoD 8140 certification at Advanced level (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX)
• Familiar with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) tools such as ACAS/Tenable, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Splunk and QRadar, Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
