Requirements
- Experience as an electronics and electrical, 120 Volt single phase power, technician
- Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic system malfunctions and failures
- Experience in soldering and printed circuit card rework
- Knowledge of electrical safety, including following established safety practices and requirements
- Ability to read schematics
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, and frequency generator
- Secret clearance
- Associate’s degree
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment
- Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling
- Contribute new knowledge to programs or projects
- Apply knowledge of policies, procedures and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work
- Make recommendations for new procedures
- Work independently within established procedures and practices
- Lead tasks and informally mentor others

- Experience with technical writing
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
- Electronics Technician Certification
