Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of logistics related experience
- Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
- Experience with computer systems, voice/video systems, and network infrastructure
- Experience with tracking multiple logistics projects
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Manage government property and assets in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations
- Support customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities
- Manage tracking/management database with asset information
- Conducts inventory control, analysis, and classification according to procedure to ensure effective use of resources to ensure effective logistics deployment
- Occasional travel to other locations for logistics support to using a GOV
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
- Hands-on logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of logistics professionals focused on supporting the customer’s mission
- Perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments, sanitation, disposition, asset retirement, and database maintenance
- Able to account for the annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition
- Assist other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements
