Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years of logistics related experience
  • Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
  • Experience with computer systems, voice/video systems, and network infrastructure
  • Experience with tracking multiple logistics projects
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Manage government property and assets in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations
  • Support customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities
  • Manage tracking/management database with asset information
  • Conducts inventory control, analysis, and classification according to procedure to ensure effective use of resources to ensure effective logistics deployment
  • Occasional travel to other locations for logistics support to using a GOV
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times
  • Hands-on logistics analyst and technician to be part of a team of logistics professionals focused on supporting the customer’s mission
  • Perform the full spectrum of duties associated with shipping/receiving, inter-plant transfers, barcode assignments, sanitation, disposition, asset retirement, and database maintenance
  • Able to account for the annual inventory of thousands of accountable items, working with security and government logistics managers for disposition
  • Assist other work centers to identify and satisfy their logistics requirements
