Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), or a related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience with information technology related to insurance and reinsurance
- Experience integrating reinsurance data from UW to downstream applications using SQL and Datastage
- Experience with insurance platforms and technical accounting
- Experience turning complex insurance agreements into automated technology solutions and ensuring end-to-end integration with downstream receiver systems
- Alternatively, seven (7) years of experience in the above areas can substitute for the degree requirement.
Responsibilities
- Integrate reinsurance technology platforms and enable seamless end-to-end reinsurance business processes by defining process flows and data flows
- Perform business requirement analysis and documentation of workflow and procedures, and integrate with global reinsurance solutions
- Perform data mapping, functional design, reconciliation, and support for target state architecture
- Develop user stories along with the business and work with the development team to implement them
- Ensure data lineage and data governance for reinsurance financial data across systems
- Strategize the migration of legacy reinsurance solutions to Sapiens
- Perform QA responsibilities
- Develop, estimate, and execute test plans, including communicating testing status regularly to project managers
- Work with implementing Sapiens ReinsuranceMaster solution (SRM); information technology related to insurance and reinsurance; integrating reinsurance data from UW to downstream applications using SQL, Datastage, and SRM; reinsurance platforms and technical accounting; and, turning complex reinsurance agreements into automated technology solutions on the Sapiens platform and ensuring end-to-end integration with downstream receiver systems.
