Requirements
- BSN
- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice in area of specialty
- Current NYS RN license
- Current NYS NP license in area of specialty
- BLS through the AHA
Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent care and services are provided to in-patient hematology/oncology patients with respect and compassion
- Provide some out-patient coverage as needed
- Practice the art and science of evidence-based nursing
- Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- 2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty
