Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio
  • Applicants must be from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program (with an accredited clinical internship)
  • At least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience
  • Licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment
  • Competent in technical clinical skills
  • Possess cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve patients
  • Preference for candidates with previous training or experience working with patients with mood disorders

Responsibilities

  • Join a multidisciplinary team serving patients referred for treatment of depression and other mood disorders
  • Provide clinical evaluation and assessment
  • Conduct individual and/or group psychotherapy
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the DSM-5 and mental health diagnoses within the ICD-10
  • Participate in committees and conferences
  • Represent OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements
  • Practice within established Medical Center standards of practice

  • Previous training or experience working with patients with mood disorders
