Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences required
- Successful completion of a background check

Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage research projects and experiments
- Collect and analyze data for research
- Perform critical analysis of literature relevant to research
- Identify and select future research areas to be studied
- Develop and troubleshoot new experimental techniques and protocols
- Participate in training, mentoring and supervising junior members of the lab
- Attend and present research at seminars, national and international conferences
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and support technical writing
- Participate and assist with development, writing, and preparation of grant proposals
- Monitor and enforce laboratory safety procedures
