Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain medical endoscopic instruments, equipment, and sterile set-up according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards.
- Provide overall safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning.
- Prepare rooms and position or transport patients.
- Assist physicians and nurses.
- Conduct in-service training sessions to disseminate information regarding equipment or instruments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year healthcare experience is preferred.
- Nursing Assistant certification, Certified Medical Assistant, or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is preferred.
