Acquisition IPS Analyst – Mid

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an acquisition logistics IPS analyst
• 5+ years of experience with IPS postings
• 5+ years of experience creating logistics documents, briefs, and correspondence
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and correlating product support data from multiple sources
• Experience working in multiple logistics domains simultaneously
• Experience working with Microsoft Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Knowledge of the various U.S. Navy acquisition framework models from cradle to grave
• Ability to read and interpret specification drawings and maintenance procedures
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Support U.S. Naval acquisition and sustainment programs by applying sound Integrated Product Support (IPS) Logistics principles
• Provide the client acquisition IPS information and strategies throughout the lifecycle of the system to meet program logistics and engineering milestones
• Support the client in developing statutory, regulatory, and programmatic product life cycle documentation
• Collect, organize, and analyze logistical data along all 14 IPS domain elements to help identify problems, solutions, and product support opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics teams
• Experience working with Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge of Model Based Product Support (MBPS)
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to brief the client at meetings
• Secret clearance
• Logistics Acquisition Certification
• Completion of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Logistics and IPS Training
