Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder and paginated reports.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schema, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspace management, gateways, and scheduling.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into effective visualizations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
- Write efficient DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
- Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
- Create and optimize data models, relationships, and hierarchies within Power BI.
- Connect to various data sources (SQL, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and user-level access controls on Power BI datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of BI solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to data models, DAX measures, and report logic.
- Support deployment, publishing, and Power BI service administration tasks.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of reports and datasets.
