Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Minimum of three to five years of related experience
Responsibilities
- Manage annual giving efforts and oversee a donor portfolio of approximately 50-75 prospects with annual giving leadership or major gift philanthropic capacity
- Initiate and conduct at least 10-15 visits or substantive contacts per month to identify philanthropic interests, capacity, and readiness
- Develop personalized cultivation and solicitation strategies and present written and oral proposals to donors
- Solicit gifts directly or in conjunction with the Senior Director and/or Dean
- Contribute to strategic planning for short-term and long-term fundraising goals
- Assist with development-related event efforts on behalf of the William S. Boyd School of Law
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with William S. Boyd School of Law alumni, donors, faculty, staff, and students
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Higher Education or Alumni Engagement is preferred
