Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field or in lieu of the degree 12+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with ESS, including: Video surveillance systems, Access control systems, Intercoms, Intrusion detection systems, Security gates
- Must be able to pass a moderate suitability (customer) background check
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electronic security systems (ESS)
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Replace or repair faulty components and wiring
- Configure computers, communication devices, and peripherals
- Provide technical support to fellow technicians during system restoration
- Ability to travel frequently within the metro area and occasionally to neighboring states
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage
- Experience with any of the following systems is highly desirable: Johnson Controls P2000, Lenel OnGuard, Pelco, Genetec, Milestone
