Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 5 years of experience, 3 years with Masters, or 1 year with PHD for Principal Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of experience, 6 years with Masters, or 4 years with PHD for Sr. Principal Engineer
- 3 Years of experience with Siemens Xpedition for Principal
- 5 Years of experience with Siemens Xpedition for Sr. Principal
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
- The ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic and proactive approaches to issue and problem resolution
- Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around times
- Familiarity with Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter or similar environments
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Responsibilities
- Support Common Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) and Xpedition user issue resolutions
- Directly support the Product Owner and provide technical support for the development, testing, and implementation of the Siemens Capital, and Xpedition electrical engineering tools
- Triage and prioritize impact of user issues
- Learn program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct PLM usage
- Work closely with program user community
- Act as a liaison across multiple engineering disciplines across multiple programs
- Identify gaps in processes
- Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation
- Support the electrical design tool users and assist with configuring new processes when required
- Use technical principles, theories and concepts and apply them to develop recommended solutions to technical problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in STEM related discipline
- Familiarity with a ticketing workflow system (Service Now)
- Familiarity with configuration management
- Working knowledge of System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration
- Experience with the following tools: Siemens NX (or solid model CAD software), DOORs, Confluence, and JIRA
- Working knowledge/training in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
- Knowledge/Experience with Writing Requirements
- Experience with Sentinel program
