Requirements
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Robust technical skills, including the ability to write and debug automated tests
- Experience using tools like Postman for API testing
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Comprehension of the CI/CD process and its relationship to automated tests
- Ability to draft comprehensive quality strategies for new features
- Proficiency in automated test paradigms, including unit, Jest, and end-to-end tests
- Ability to identify which test cases require automation and which can be tested manually
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, Designer, and Product Owner to define the quality strategy
- Create comprehensive end-to-end test cases
- Understand existing automated test coverage and identify gaps
- Define plans for manual testing to ensure complete coverage
- Plan initiatives to increase automated test coverage
- Communicate effectively within ticketing systems by creating clear, well-scoped Jira tickets
- Communicate across diverse channels, including detailed test plans and engaging demos of features and results
