Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 60 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience must include 60 months involving the following:
- 1. Building products including front end technologies or backend systems
- 2. Coding in C++, Java, JavaScript, or PHP
- 3. Unix
- 4. Linux
- 5. Large-scale Internet service architectures including load balancing, LAMP, or CDN’s
- 6. Designing and developing distributed systems, storage systems, or cache and data distribution infrastructure
- 7. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in large-scale systems
- 8. Coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams
- 9. Developing and managing requirements, and making data-driven decisions
- 10. Leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area.
- Work with your team and cross functional partners to define and influence strategy.
- Drive roadmap creation and execution.
- Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level.
- Participate in technical design.
- Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals.
- Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization.
