Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a General Superintendent, or BSGS (Bulk Specialty Gas Systems) Superintendent – with high purity specialty gas experience in Semiconductor or Industrial setting.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of large project and construction management experience with strong results in meeting deadlines and cost requirements.
  • Semiconductor experience required.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor bulk and specialty Gas system design documents (drawings, engineering databases, specifications, etc).
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor construction and start up schedules, constraints, and sequencing.
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling in the construction environment.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to work well with a highly diverse team including owners, GC’s, trades, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction standards, practices, techniques, and technology.
  • Ability to interpret construction contracts, plans and specifications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with the following tools: Primavera/Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
  • Work directly with the owner to ensure that their program needs are met.
  • Ability to work in a multi-contract environment.
  • Manage project team including multiple owner, GC, and trade partners to meet requirements and deliverables keeping the values of safety and quality in mind.
  • Lead and pursue continuous improvement initiatives and actions to aid in achieving project objectives.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation, communicate with Project Team and Client management.
  • Collaborate with team and other key stakeholders to ensure project schedules are established and maintained and are in alignment with owner expectations.
  • Coordination and integration of the design with the construction/start up schedules.
  • Ownership of the Master Equipment List and System Start Up Matrices for all bulk and specialty Chem/Gas systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in the field will be considered in lieu of formal education.
