Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical degree with 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with SAP and Minitab or other statistical software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop Engineering and continuous improvement plans to meet overall long and short term company goals.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor machine and process checklists, preventative maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, and other reliability related aspects to ensure consistent operation as it relates to safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Participate in product margin, manufacturing variance, and cost of quality reviews and assist in or lead root cause analysis and long-term corrective action development.
- Participate in new product specification reviews to ensure and advise on process capability of requested requirements.
- Lead and manage capital projects to enhance operational capabilities and efficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and supervisory experience preferred.
