Requirements
- Strong background in loan servicing or mortgage operations
- Experience ensuring compliance with industry regulations and implementing processes to meet legal requirements
- Proven ability to approach servicing challenges with creativity and innovation, finding effective solutions for unique and complex loan scenarios
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, legal, and loan origination, to achieve common goals
Responsibilities
- Works closely with outsource vendor to clear lien release exceptions within state-specific timelines
- Assists internal and external customers with lien release-related inquiries
- Processing chattel lien releases
- Manages daily exception reports
- Preparing missing assignments
- Manage incoming POA’s for accuracy and forward to the vendor
- Manage vendor’s signing matrix
- Print lien releases, submit for execution, and forward to the vendor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Perform additional duties as delegated by management
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of loan servicing experience or mortgage operations preferred
- Familiarity with special loan products and regulatory requirements, especially those related to SCRA-protected loans
- Knowledge of collateral loan documents including, recorded mortgages, original promissory notes, assignments, and power of attorney
