Requirements
- Hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited College or university
- Hold or be qualified to hold a Nevada RN license
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise
- Collaborate with other faculty in course development
- Use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning
- Provide student supervision
- Participate in school, university, professional and community service activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with at least 2 years clinical experience
- Certification through ANCC as a Psych-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
