Senior Software Test Engineer-Embedded

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
Minimum four (4) years related experience
Experience with firmware and software test, with a demonstrated track record of repeated success in product delivery and market success
Well versed in the Software Development Cycle (source revision control, code reviews, issue tracking, release notes and documentation)
Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Prepare and create test plans and test cases for embedded software, based on requirements and functional documentation
Execute test cases, perform regression testing, find and document issues
Perform test data analysis and prepare reports of test results
Provide process improvements and recommendations
Participate in software architecture and code reviews
Work with cross-functional teams including Software Development, Hardware Development, and System Architecture.

An ABET accredited engineering degree is preferred
Visual Studio development environment
C#, C/C++
Mastery of Word, Excel, and Visio
Architecting, designing, implementing test systems for embedded software applications.
Test planning, execution, reporting
Change management processes and tools
Firmware debugging environment (IDE) and tools
Serial protocol interfaces: Modbus, SPI, I2C
