Requirements
- Associates in Nursing upon hire
- 2 years Nursing and MDS process experience with demonstrated nursing assessment skills
- State of Michigan RN upon hire
- Nurse Assessment Coordinator, Registered (RNAC) within 1 year
- BLS through AHA or ARC within 60 days
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs)
- Collaborating with Staff Nurses, Nurse Aides, and the interdisciplinary team on the assessment process and development of resident MDS/Care Plans
- Monitoring Medicare and Medicaid requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in Nursing
- Experience in sub – acute care and knowledge of Prospective Payment System (PPS)
