Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two or more years of direct experience in UI/UX design and development
  • Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles and techniques
  • Experience with user testing and usability analysis
  • Familiarity with web-based information hierarchy and design
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several projects efficiently
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating storyboards, website mapping, journey mapping, etc.
  • Understanding of graphic design and web technologies
  • Familiarity with visual design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lucidchart
  • Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions.
