Requirements
- BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
- Experience developing PCBS, firmware, and testing platforms for mechatronic/robotic systems.
- Experience working with low voltage brushless and brushed electric motors.
- Experience designing electronics for high EMI environments.
- Experience designing basic analog and digital circuits.
- Experience working with embedded systems / microcontrollers.
- Experience with oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer.
- Experience with PCB schematics, design, layout, fabrication.
- Experience with wiring harnessing, cable management, etc.
- Experience with power electronics design.
- Experience with Linux, STM32, RTOS.
- Experience with embedded systems and firmware – C/C++, Python.
- Experience with Altium.
Responsibilities
- Design the full power system, design circuits, layouts and PCBs, debug electronics, use all the tools (oscilloscope etc).
- Architect, develop and maintain large electromechanical systems.
- Provide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery.
- Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotics and/or industrial automation.
